About
Compassionate care with over 20 years of trauma counselling experience. Certified Somatic Experience Practitioner (SEP). I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Victoria, and I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Work. I have training in Internal Family Systems and Expressive Art Therapy.
For over two decades, I worked as a trauma counsellor in the nonprofit sector. I provided counselling for women-identified survivors of violence, trauma, abuse, and neglect. For me, it is values-aligned and meaningful work to support individuals in reclaiming safety, stability, themselves, and their lives.
I have a passion for supporting each individual's capacity to move through challenges and self-discovery with kindness and compassionate curiosity. I believe that through safety and with genuine connection, each person is free to shine as their authentic self and be all of who they are in a life that reflects their hopes, goals, and values.
I have an unwavering commitment and enthusiasm for trauma-informed care and an appreciation of the vulnerability and emotional depth inherent in this work. I love the process of supporting people to access more joy, freedom, and ease within themselves and their lives.
